Our Physicians


Michael L. Carlin, M.D.

Dr. Michael Carlin is the medical director of Rockland Diagnostic Imaging, Greenpoint Diagnostic Imaging and Allium Diagnostic Imaging and is a Board Certified Neuroradiologist. He completed a two year fellowship at Harvard Medical School, Brigham and Woman’s Hospital and Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary after a residency in radiology at Long Island Jewish Hospital, where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Carlin is a senior member of the American Society of Neuroradiology. He has special expertise in the field of head and neck imaging, neuroradiology and musculoskeletal radiology, and trained in orthopedic radiology at Orthopedic Institute, Hospital for Joint Disease.

Jonathan Schwartz, M.D.

Dr. Jonathan Schwartz is a Board Certified Radiologist. He completed his Diagnostic Radiology Residency at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City, where he served as Chief Resident. He has special expertise in the field of Musculoskeletal Radiology, having completed his fellowship at the Orthopedic Institute Hospital for Joint Disease/ New York University Medical Center. Dr. Schwartz has written and co-authored several articles on Orthopedic Imaging and has presented academic papers at meetings of the Radiological Society of North America and American Roentgen Ray Society.

Kornelia Teslic, M.D.

Dr. Kornelia Teslic is a board certified radiologist with special expertise in the field of neuroradiology as well as Nuclear Medicine and PET scanning. Dr. Teslic completed a fellowship in neuroradiology at Cornell Medical Center and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York City. She completed a Nuclear Medicine residency also at Cornell Medical Center as well as a radiology residency at New York Medical College, in Valhalla, New York.

Svetlana Shteynman, D.O.

Dr. Svetlana Shteynman is a Board Certified diagnostic radiologist with special expertise in woman’s imaging and body imaging. She completed her radiology training at St. Barnabas Hospital and fellowship training at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset. Following her training, she was on staff as an Associate Attending Radiologist and radiology residency program director at St. Barnabas Hospital, Bronx, New York. She has special expertise in obstetrical and gynecologic ultrasound, as well as breast imaging, including breast MRI and breast biopsy.
